Project Manager - Construction
Growing National Multi-Family General Contractor is currently looking for an Experienced & Self-Motivated Project Manager to supervise & coordinate all site related items & duties.
The Qualified Candidate must possess the following:
- Previous experience managing projects through estimating, planning, design, construction & close out phases
- Able to read blueprints, knowledge of specifications, shop drawing/submittal process & construction methods.
- Ability to set up a project including required site utilities, jobsite signage, storage, plans etc.
- Ability to stage materials, direct work & manage subcontractors, suppliers, etc.. in a safe & productive manner
- Manages, coordinates & is responsible for engineering, budgets, purchasing, construction & all related activities.
- Expert ability to lead construction projects in various phases concurrently
- Ability to complete the project on time & within budget.
- Ability to keep project records.
- Ability to communicate and work as a team (both internal and external).
- Ability to successfully manage & work together with Owners, Architects, Vendors, Subcontractors & Governing Authorities.
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, Project (Xactimate a plus)
- Possess valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation.
- Must possess & maintain a sense of urgency, problem solving skills & decision making abilities as well as a very strong ability to manage Quality Control.
- Must be self-motivated, assertive & have outstanding leadership & communication skills.
- Must be well spoken with good writing skills & provide a high level of customer service.
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.
